The Students’ Union is run by students for students – that means we’re completely dedicated to representing students at Staffs and helping provide what they want from their student experience. That covers everything from advice and support, great venues and events to representation, sports clubs, activities and even a dedicated student media service.
We’re constantly striving to ensure the best possible experience for all students at Staffs and free membership of the Students’ Union is automatic on enrolling at Staffordshire University. That means our students get to have their say in what we do and how we do it.

Legends and The Lounge are the Union's Beaconside campus venues. The Lounge is a recently refurbished, stylish bar serving great food and coffee as well as the traditional bar refreshments seven days a week. We offer students a chance to create local history exhibitions for the community. This entails researching local history, designing displays, liaising with local communities and working with fellow students.
we also offer a chance for intellectual discussion and social activities, so if you're interested in any of these things then get involved!

Objects of the Society
The object of the ‘Peoples Museum Society’ is the creation of local history centres and displays in and around the Stoke on Trent area and possibly beyond.

If you have a passion for history or local history or you have a passion for your local town or village, and long to see some kind of culture where you live then we offer:
A chance to research the local history of an area of your choiceto work with established history groups and their research.
Then display this work for the benefit of the community
If you have an eye for design and displays, or you are creative and looking for an outlet then we offer:-
A chance to work on ways to engage an audience with the research materialsWorking on interactive display, oral histories, video and other media, for total engagement
