The Students’ Union is run by students for students – that means we’re completely dedicated to representing students at Staffs and helping provide what they want from their student experience. That covers everything from advice and support, great venues and events to representation, sports clubs, activities and even a dedicated student media service.
We’re constantly striving to ensure the best possible experience for all students at Staffs and free membership of the Students’ Union is automatic on enrolling at Staffordshire University. That means our students get to have their say in what we do and how we do it.

The Students' Union sponsors and supports a diverse range of student-run groups. Legends and The Lounge are the Union's Beaconside campus venues. The Lounge is a recently refurbished, stylish bar serving great food and coffee as well as the traditional bar refreshments seven days a week. Staffordshire University Men's Basketball Team (Stafford Campus)

Stafford Men's Basketball gives the opportunity for exisiting and new basketball palyers to play and improve on their basketball skills.
There are regular training sessions and competitive matches held at the Beaconside Sports Centre as well as away matches at other universities.
The team is entered into the BUCS league to compete against other university teams. We currently play in the BUCS Men's Basketball Midlands Conference, Division 3A.
Last year we came 4th in our league and did well in the cup reaching the quarter-finals and many of our players were picked for the Staffs team (also consisting of Stoke players) to face Keele for the Varsity rivalry game!
Here it's not just about basketball, there are and will be many social events based both at the Student's Union bar and around the town for club members to get to know each other and have fun.
The club is open to anyone of any ability and is a great way to keep fit while getting to know new people both on and off the court.
