The Students’ Union is run by students for students – that means we’re completely dedicated to representing students at Staffs and helping provide what they want from their student experience. That covers everything from advice and support, great venues and events to representation, sports clubs, activities and even a dedicated student media service.
We’re constantly striving to ensure the best possible experience for all students at Staffs and free membership of the Students’ Union is automatic on enrolling at Staffordshire University. That means our students get to have their say in what we do and how we do it.

The Lounge is a recently refurbished, stylish bar serving great food and coffee as well as the traditional bar refreshments seven days a week. Staffs football club aims to give the best football players at Staffs the chance to represent the university at the highest standard of football possible.
Staffordshire University Men's Football hold 4 teams along with a Saturday team and new to this year a 5th team. the 4 teams play in the BUCS league on a Wednesday afternoon and can sometimes consists of traveling across the country to play. the Saturday team who played in the MUL league last year look to be moved into a better league after finishing 2nd in the league and made it to the quarter final of the cup. The 5th team is looking to be set up for the first time this year and hope to be entered into a local west midlands league. Training is looking to be on a Monday evening, Tuesday evening and a fitness session on Thursday.
Most Wednesdays the football team will have socials whereby we all meet at our selected bar to celebrate the days VICTORIES, play games and have time to get to know everyone on the team before heading off to the Students on campus night club to enjoy the rest of the night!
The football club in general is a great opportunity to meet friends and also push yourself to the best standard possible!
