Hockey Club Ladies (Stoke)

Hi Ladies!!

If you want to be a part of the University's biggest and longest established Women's club, then Women's Hockey is for you! We boast two teams which cater for all abilities and train twice weekly with a qualified NGB coach.

Training Times(Large Astro):

Monday 5 - 6pm

Tuesday 6 - 7pm

Thursday 5 - 6pm

We compete in the University BUCS leagues on Wednesday afternoons in League 3A and 4A. Anyone is welcome to join no matter what your ability or experience in Hockey is. We are a very inclusive team accomodating experienced players competing in National League games to beginners looking for a fresh and enjoyable hobby.

Alongside training and playing we also encourage a strong social side to our club, which won our Club the MOST desired award "Club of the Year" in 06/07. We meet every Wednesdays after games for FREE food, then organised social meetings from 7:30pm in The Graduate. Each year we organise two tours; a social tour and a playing tour: The 08/09 season saw us achieve the Runners-Up position for Bournemouth Hockey Tour.
