Varsity 2010 ~ Let the battle commence!
Wednesday 10th March 2010 sees Staffordshire University travel to Keele for the 4th annual Varsity event. Having won the Varsity last year in a tense thriller, Team Staffs are keen to lift the trophy once again, but this time on away turf. This event is not only about sport, it also raise significant amounts of money for our chosen charities, The Donna Louise Trust & Cancer Research UK.
Throughout the day Keele University will host competitions in 14 sports:

At 7pm the grande finale then moves to Newcastle Town FC where for the 12th year, Men's Football will go head to head on this huge stage.
Entry to the day time event at Keele is free of charge. Entry to Newcastle Town FC is by purchasing a Varsity programme which costs £2.50, at least £1.50 of which will be donated to charity. Programmes are available at Team Staffs Info Stand at the Keel Sports Centre or can be purchased at the turnstile on the night (subject to availability).
A return shuttle bus will be running between Staffordshire University and Newcastle Town FC for the evening event, departing from College Road bus stop at 6.00pm or 6.30pm and then returning at 9.00pm or 9.30pm to Leek Road. Tickets can be purchased via this page costing £2.50 return.
