Despite hefty increases in the Budget, the Students' Union will not increase drink prices in semester three.
Following the government's latest Budget on 20 March, the amount it costs for the Union to provide alcoholic drinks in student spaces like Ember Lounge, The Lounge and LRV has increased. As you can see from the graph below, that potentially means an increase of 10p on a bottle of wine and 38p on a bottle of spirits.
However the Students' Union executive has decided to keep its alcohol prices frozen, meaning no students at Staffs will pay any more for their drinks for the rest of the academic year. So enjoy a drink in the Union knowing that we're saving you money. :)
