Information Services have identified that two pages on the main university website (www.staffs.ac.uk) were compromised yesterday (2nd July). The pages have been restored to their original settings and the vulnerability closed to prevent any reoccurrence of the problem.
It is expected that for a few hours that the Google search engine and Chrome web browser may still report that there is a security issue with the university website, but we can assure users that the site is now clear from any issue and that Google have been asked to remove this warning. Users can safely access http://www.staffs.ac.uk directly and use the "proceed anyway" link if using the Google Chrome web browser.
When logging into the results screen, please use student/username in the username field.
