Our Greenpad Coordinator Katie Ferneyhough has been shortlisted for two Young Leaders award in association with University Business Magazine.
Katie has impressed the expert judging panel enough to reach the top-three shortlisted in two categories; Sustainability Champion and People’s Choice.
Whilst running the Greenpad project at Staffs, Katie delivers green campaigns, organises housing fairs and works with volunteers to host events like The Great Donate. Katie impressed the judges that much she’s also been shortlisted in the People’s Choice category that’s to ‘celebrate the person considered to be the true star performer among the Young Leader nominees; tipped to be a top leader in higher education for the future.’
The winners will be announced on 4th November at the Young Leaders Awards Ceremony and dinner in London, this is an incredible achievement and we wish Katie the best of luck.
