The University will introduce parking fines and permits from the New Year.
Car park signage is currently being installed in preparation for new car park management procedures being implemented from 2nd January.
The permit scheme will be launched after the Xmas break and permits will be sent out during January but abuse of disabled spaces and parking so as to cause obstruction will be managed through the issue of parking charge notices from 2nd January.
The new car park is available to the left hand side of the Leek Rd entrance where there are more than 200 spaces and there are overflow car parking spaces at Clarice Cliff Halls accessed off Lordship Lane.
