That’s it for another year here at the Britannia Stadium for the Activities Awards 2015, congratulations to all of the winners.
Club of the year: The Club of the Year award aims to reward the club that has offered the best service to its members, contributed most to the development and promotion of sport at Staffordshire University and/or has made significant improvement over the year.
American Football
Society of the year: This Award will go to the best run society this year. It will be presented to the most successful and active society. Looking at activity levels, SU involvement, diversity and participation.
Staffs TV
Team of the year: This trophy is awarded for outstanding sporting success and achievement, competitiveness, sportsmanship and team spirit.
Men’s Lacrosse
Event of the year: This award is given to recognise a successful event/ workshop/ taster session run by a society which was innovative and engaged a high number of their members.

Performance of the year:
Ultimate Frisbee (Stafford and Stoke)
Committee of the year (society): This award seeks to recognise the outstanding achievements of a society’s committee as demonstrated by the smooth running of that group.

Basil Ashford Award: This award is presented annually to an individual who has achieved outstanding sporting success whilst representing the University this academic year.

Stuart Boon Award: This award is presented to one student each year for their outstanding contribution and commitment to Student Activities while being at the University.

Ken Sproston Award: the Ken Sproston Award is for a student that has been chosen for their hard work behind the scenes ensuring that everything runs smoothly and supports everyone as best as they can.
