The Students’ Union is run by students for students – that means we’re completely dedicated to representing students at Staffs and helping provide what they want from their student experience. That covers everything from advice and support, great venues and events to representation, sports clubs, activities and even a dedicated student media service.
We’re constantly striving to ensure the best possible experience for all students at Staffs and free membership of the Students’ Union is automatic on enrolling at Staffordshire University. That means our students get to have their say in what we do and how we do it.
Staffordshire University Students’ Union is a democratic organisation, working entirely for the benefit of students.

Do you want to win FREE TICKETS to one of the fastest growing student festivals of this decade?
Well look no further! Here at OMG we have been given two free tickets to the winner of our competition.
Beach Break Live is held in Pembrey Country Park, South Wales from 14th-18th June.
It has grown from 1000 students in its first year, to 5000 in its second, and doubling in its third year to 10,000 and is now looking to sell a mighty 17,500 tickets in 2010.
This year’s festival will be bigger and bouncier than ever in terms of line-up and general shenanigans.
Not only have Beach Break Live gone and bagged themselves a breath taking new site complete with 8 miles of pristine silky white sand and a woodland adventure park but they have also managed to pull out a killer line up.
Synth pops finest Calvin Harris will be joining the drum and bass Chase and Status and electro pop starlet and Brits Choice Award Ellie Goulding.
Also confirmed are London rappers potty mouthed lyrical genius Plan B, Example, Scroobius Pip and Dan Le Sac.
Flying the flag for the indie kids are Sunderland’s very own post punk rockers, the fabulous Futureheads.
The fantastic New Young Pony Club will also be strutting their stuff on stage alongside fresh faced 16 year old Daisy Dares You and Sting’s daughter I Blame Coco and many many more.
And as if this wasn’t exciting enough, Radio 1’s very own Ms Annie Mac, Drum and Bass heavyweight Sub Focus, electro idol Fake Blood and Yorkshire big bass ragamuffin Toddla T along with old favorites, Scratch Perverts and Dub Pistols Sound system will be DJ-ing the event!
Think BBQs, sand castles, sun bathing, cocktail sipping and general beach side festival tomfoolery.
Does this seem too good to be true? Well it’s not! Keep your eyes open on OMG to see how you can win a chance to go to one of the most exciting festivals of this year!
