GKradio are broadcasting from 7PM on Thursday the 13th until 7PM on Friday the 14th of November to raise money from Children In Need.
Normally, GKradio makes do with listeners from Staffs and around the world who tune in through the GKradio website. However, at quarter past five on Friday morning, a certain Mr. Greg James tuned in and he had the advantage of being able to broadcast his choice of radio station across the airwaves of Great Britain on BBCÂ Radio 1.
Greg called GKradio and asked if he could speak to the presenters. So, live on the two great cornerstones of British broadcasting (Radio 1 & GKradio), Greg and the GKradio team discussed their efforts for Children In Need before Greg was forced to make a hasty retreat to avoid Station Manager Charlie Marlow's flirtatious advances!
So a big thanks to Greg and all at Radio 1 for joining the GKradio team, albeit just for one morning.
