The Students’ Union is run by students for students – that means we’re completely dedicated to representing students at Staffs and helping provide what they want from their student experience. That covers everything from advice and support, great venues and events to representation, sports clubs, activities and even a dedicated student media service.
We’re constantly striving to ensure the best possible experience for all students at Staffs and free membership of the Students’ Union is automatic on enrolling at Staffordshire University. That means our students get to have their say in what we do and how we do it.

The Students' Union sponsors and supports a diverse range of student-run groups. The Lounge is a recently refurbished, stylish bar serving great food and coffee as well as the traditional bar refreshments seven days a week. Hello all! Yes, Staffs uni finally got an equestrian club! We welcome everyone regardless of ability! Whether you've never been on a horse before or if you've been riding all your life we can cater to your needs. We ride at a school in Endon with great facilities, horses and ponies! Endon is also a member of the riding for the disabled association! http://www.endonridingschool.co.uk/ As well as the usual weekly lessons we will also have occassional fun days where you can all come along to enjoy a home cooked meal provided by the school (bet you've all missed those ;P) and get involved in Gymkhana games and even a hack out in the countryside! Unfortunately we are not in association with BUCS so we will not have a team this year but we will be looking into it for the future of the club. Lessons will take place Wednesday afternoons. Lessons are £16 for a half an hour lesson. Horse riding isn't a cheap hobby but this half hour session gets you through a lot whatever your ability. If you're not sure whether you want to commit to the club we will be having 'Give it a go!' sessions in the next few weeks hopefully at a reduced price!! WE NEED DRIVERS! Anyone who can drive and would be willing to collect/transport people to lessons would be a major help! You will be able to claim your petrol costs back from the union.
