The show is held to bring together both the community and the students who attend both the university and Stoke-on-Trent College. The clothes and collections on show on the catwalks were sponsored by local stores at both Festival Park and Hanley. The high street sponsors were Miss Selfridge, Burton, New Look, Peacocks and Republic. As well as these there were designs by the Staffordshire universities textiles and fashion departments. Some of the couture outfits were for sale after the fashion show was finished. There were Two creative dance performances from groups Dance Akademix (formally called Rhythm Factory) and the Staffordshire Universities Dance Society.
