Super Friday is hosted every Friday night during the university semester. With an unforgetable atmosphere it is a night which holds many memories for new and old students alike!
At Super Friday you can dress up with the current theme or dress down! With DJ Karlton mixing up the best of new and old music for people to groove to. The LRV becomes alive every Wednesday with different groups of people gathering together to celebrate university life.
The Union Photographer Ed, is here photographing for the third year in a row!
For those of you who don't know, Ed is the resident union photographer. He takes pictures of us lot out enjoying ourselves at Super Friday and Gobble. After a great night out at The LRV you can find the pictures of you and your friends here on the union website, free to all who wish to download them.
Ed not only takes your pictures in a professional way but they are always a reminder of the good times!.....and don't forget that you can create your own galleries on the website, add tags to your photos and comment on them as well.

Super Friday - Semester Two : Week 16 : The Finale - 14/05/2010
The Final Week for Super Friday, Week 16! Where an Earth has the academic year gone? Everyone has something to celebrate; exams are over, essays are handed in and for some it's a farewell and the end to their university career!
DJ Karlton set the scene, spinning some classics through the night collaborating with the latest choon boppers of 2010. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. A special mention goes out to our well loved lighting technician Chris aka Bungle! He not only celebrated his birthday this week but we should all thank him for his 3 years of lighting up The LRV! "Sam" the new technician takes his place and will no doubt carry on creating the lighting atmosphere we all adore!
I will being seeing many of you at the 2010 Ball and for those who aren't attending (shame on you ;)) Good Luck with your future and don't forget to have a good Summer, it's well deserved for all!
For those approaching second year and beyond - I will be back capturing you in September for another year of fun and madness at Super Friday!
A personal thanks goes to everyone who attended Super Friday this academic year, I enjoyed shooting everyone! All that posed and made the homepage should be proud! Remember, all The LRV Staff (managers, bar staff, security) work hard to make these Venue nights as popular as ever, so we should raise our glasses for them too!
Bring on September 2010 and I'll see you all there...
