GOBBLE! - For those who don't actually know what Gobble is, my my my, you're missing out. So make sure you buy your tickets online to ensure you get in! Special guests Dick & Dom are making an appearance bringing their fun and frolics for all to enjoy and partake in!
DJ Scott Thomas was also hosting the back room, playing the latest and greatest indie tracks. He was excited as me!
A very enjoyable night for all, with many boogying on down and a chance to make new friends. Back To School night was the first of many incredible nights to come and for those of you who are new to Staffs this term, The LRV will an experience you will enjoy time and time again.

DJ Swerve Ft. Host Reggie Styles & DJ Kwame : Locked In Party 19/09/2010
The Second Night was upon us and what a night! The LRV presented DJ Swerve. His brand new tour kicked off FIRST at Staffordshire University! LRV Hosted the event which started with DJ Kwame, warming up the crowd with his awesome selection of tunes.
Host Reggie Styles collaborated with DJ Swerve who worked the crowd, with everyone enjoying a boogy and taking part in what was a brilliant night.
"DJ Swerve club and radio DJ legend is back on the scene, holding his show with Kiss for 10 years & now on from Monday – Thursday evenings with his R&B, Hip/Hop, all Urban show. He is the voice of 4Music’s and Kiss TV’s R&B top 20 which is MASSIVELY popular. Plus he has been working in the studio non stop with the likes of McClean, Pro Green & Lethal Bizzle to name a few, forging his way in to the producer world.

Whilst on stage, 2 graphic hot graffiti artists, supported DJ Swerve while he played out his amazing set to one and all. The night went down a storm with DJ Swerve, enjoying every minute! Free Cds were handed out whilst many celebrated their birthday's in style, dancing on stage!

Gobble : Semester 1 : 22/09/2010
Gobble is hosted on every wednesday night during the university semester. With an unforgetable atmosphere it is a night which holds many memories for new and old students alike!
At Gobble you can dress up or dress down! Gobble is the night of fun and games, as well as DJ James mixing up the best of new and old music for people to groove to. With DJ Scott Thomas and DJ Amy hosting the back room with all your Indie/Alternative rock tunes.
The LRV becomes alive every Wednesday with different groups of people gathering together to celebrate university life.
Seemed to an excellent night for all... So many laughs enjoyed with the Gobble weekly game.. Don't forget next week to order your ticket online.. This will enable you to use the fast queue system, which gets you in faster.

SuperFunk Roller Disco : 23/09/2010
The Superfunk RollerDisco came to town! Well I say town, The LRV!
This was your chance to pop on a pair of rollerskates, re-live your youth and glide round LRV, like never before! It didn't matter what standard you could skate at but for beginners you were given shoulder/knee pads and to look even cooler a pair of 80's socks were made available for all!
Throughout the night, 70's/80's tunes were played to accompany your moves!

Super Friday - Semester One : 24/09/2010
Super Friday is one of the most popular weekly events held at LRV! (Stoke Campus) As the name portrays, it's where your weekend begins. A chance to dance, a chance to celebrate and most of all a time to have a boogy on down!
DJ Karlton hosts the main stage playing your favourite tunes and requests whilst DJ Andy and DJ Kwame mix it up in the back room spinning R&B, Funky House UK to name some of the most popular music genres.
