Voting for student councillors and NUS delegates takes place between 1-4 November. Both positions involve making decisions on students' behalf, so it's in your interest to know who you're voting for. You can view candidates' manifestos and information about voting now.
It's Crime Safety Week from 31 October – 4 November, meaning we will be showing you how to look after your personal belongings and also how easy it is to lose them (look out for Union officers 'stealing' anything you leave lying around). We will also be promoting crime safety advice all week too. Otherwise known as academic misconduct, it is something all students need to be aware of. Look out for Union bookmarks in the library telling you more. In the meantime, find out what you need to know right here.
The financial advice service is looking for feedback through an online survey about its current website, regarding how it works, how useful it is and how easy it is to use. For anyone who does fill out the survey, you will go into a draw for a £20 Amazon voucher. We think the NUS Extra card is a great way to save money whilst still indulging in the odd spending spree! There are some amazing discounts on offer in areas such as eating out, entertainment, fashion, travel and much more. Check it out and see what you could be saving.
