The Students’ Union is run by students for students – that means we’re completely dedicated to representing students at Staffs and helping provide what they want from their student experience. That covers everything from advice and support, great venues and events to representation, sports clubs, activities and even a dedicated student media service.
We’re constantly striving to ensure the best possible experience for all students at Staffs and free membership of the Students’ Union is automatic on enrolling at Staffordshire University. That means our students get to have their say in what we do and how we do it.

The Lounge is a recently refurbished, stylish bar serving great food and coffee as well as the traditional bar refreshments seven days a week. The Executive Committe (Exec) is made up of all five of the full time officers.
The Executive Committee is responsible for running the day to day business of the Union; they oversee the day to day operation of the Union's services and drive forward the Unions representation and campaigning work.
They also deal with any changes that may affect the Union and liaise directly with the University to bring up issue of concern or provide input into the continuous improvement of the University experience for students.
The Executive are accountable to the membership for the work of the Union and report progress and issues to each Council Meeting, as well as being required to account for Union expenditure to the University Board of Governors..
