Academic Affairs Officer

As an Academic Affairs Officer I will work towards training of the academic representatives, urging students to become familiar with their union and their course departments. I will review our stance on Free Education and really push it forward, since education is the right of every individual.

 

I will try and represent students on all issues, and I will toward making our union an effective campaigning and educational body. I will also look to have demonstrations, and communicate directly with students to get their voices heard at the Union.

All students at the University need to be made aware of their course representatives and how they can help them. Hopefully, we will be able to train our school reps early on so they are affective in communicating the vision of the union at the very beginning of the first term and throughout the academic year.
