We're looking for Welcome Site Managers for 2009! 

If you think you've got what it takes to manage either Stafford or Stoke's Welcome programme next year, lead a team of enthusiastic volunteers and ensure that new students to Staffordshire University get one hell of a welcome (and earn approx. £3000 in the process) then apply now.

Welcome 2008

• Welcome 2008 saw approximately 5,000 new students start at Staffordshire University.

• More than 100 welcome rep volunteers, or 'purple people', helped make this a fantastic experience for both new and returning students.

• Two Welcome Site Managers - one in Stafford and one in Stoke - helped to make sure all events and activities were planned and delivered on time, in budget and to meet one more important criteria:  to make sure everyone had a great time.

If you're dedicated to providing a great student experience and want the chance to get involved with this fantastic project (and you look good in purple!) then maybe you could be our next Welcome Site Manager.  It not only gives great experience of both project and people management, it's great fun and looks brill on your CV.
