\n< p>Time to Talk Day is the nation&rsquo\;s biggest mental health conversat ion. Happening every year\, it&rsquo\;s a day for friends\, families\, co mmunities\, and workplaces to come together to talk\, listen and change l ives. We know the more conversations we have\; the better life is for eve ryone. Talking about mental health isn&rsquo\;t always easy\, but a conve rsation has the power to change lives. \;

\n\n

World Wetlands Da y aims to raise awareness about wetlands. This year&rsquo\;s theme is aro und the restoration of wetlands. Nearly 90% of the world&rsquo\;s wetland s have been degraded since the 1700s\, and we are losing wetlands three t imes faster than forests. Yet\, wetlands are critically important ecosyst ems that contribute to biodiversity\, climate mitigation and adaptation\, freshwater availability\, world economies and more. A well restored wetl and can provide many of the services performed by the original natural we tland. \;

By combining them in the form of a Walk and Talk in the Wetlands\, we&rsquo\;re offering an opportunity to take time out f rom the working day to join likeminded colleagues for conversation and fr esh air\, to improve your wellbeing\, while helping to look after our on- campus wetlands. \;

The walk will start and finish at The C atalyst to give you the chance to buy a hot drink and warm up. (Please re member your reusable cup if you are planning on buying a hot drink!).&nbs p\; \;

Will litter picks be supplied?
\nLitter pickers and hoops will be supplied on the day to pa rticipants on a first come\, first served basis. Please book on to the ev ent to secure your space as we only have a limited number available to bo rrow. You are of course welcome to bring your own if you have them.
