As part of Bike Week 2024\, Staffordshire University&rsquo\;s on-cam pus Police Officer\, PC Gareth Richardson and colleagues from Staffordshi re Police\, will be on campus hosting a bike marking event.

\n\n

Sta ff and students are invited to come down to the entrance of The Catalyst building on Friday 14 June 2024 to get your bike security marked as well as put onto the Bike Register for FREE. You can also get advice on all th ings bike security from the team to help keep your bike as secure as poss ible.

Security marking your bike deters potential thieves as yo ur bike can be easily traced if it is stolen. Being on the on BikeRegiste r means you could be reunited with your bike in the event of it being sto len. Your details are held on a secure online database which all UK Polic e Forces have access to. Registering your bike helps police and retailers identify and verify the legitimate owner of bikes that have been stolen or are being resold.
