Eid al-Fitr\, also called the "\;Festival of Breaking the Fast&q uot\;\, is a religious celebration that marks the end of the month-long d awn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. People greet each other with &ldquo\;Ei d Mubarak\,&rdquo\; meaning &ldquo\;Blessed Eid&rdquo\; and sweet dishes are prepared at home with gifts given to children.
