Who should attend?
This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

Course duration
One day.
Assessment
Written assessment and continuous observation by the trainer.
Candidates need a basic command of English (defined as Level 2). So whilst we are often able to provide support to people who for example do not have English as a first language, our ability to do so is limited by the time available and the number of people who require assistance, although we may be able to make special arrangements if requested in advance. Certification
Successful candidates will receive a St John Ambulance certificate which is valid for three years.
Booking Terms & Conditions
This session is heavily subsidised by the Students' Union to enable students to attend at a very low cost. After making a booking, if you no longer wish to attend then please cancel your place by 4pm the day prior to the course. Cancellations after this time will mean that you will be charged the full cost of the course.
