Leadership Race Logo

Every year, the Leadership Race runs to determine who will lead your Students’ Union. This year 22 candidates put themselves forward for the role of Full-Time Officer, each with a manifesto of their ideas and stances, and students voted to decide who should represent them through an anonymous online vote. The four candidates with the most votes will become your elected officer team for 2018/19.

Voting is now closed. Join your very own Student TV Station, Staffs TV, and your Students' Union as we announce the results at 7pm on Friday 16 March 2018.

How else can I get involved?

Trustees have overall control of a charity and are responsible for making sure it’s doing what it was set up to do. In the case of Staffs Students' Union, this is making sure that the Union is fulfilling it's core purpose of representing students' academic interests and that all of it's strategic and operational processes back this up. Trustees use their skills and experience to support their charities, helping them achieve their aims. Trustees also often learn new skills during their time on the board.
