Your safety is our top priority in our venues, heres how we keep you safe!
Union Angels -
Our Union Angels are here to help you home at the end of our club nights.
Our friendly staff are more than happy to walk with you home as long as you live within a reasonable distance away from campus, and if you do live some distance away they will make sure that you have a taxi to get you home or will do their best to find your friends for you.
Our security teams are trained to identify any customers who would benefit from this service, but don't be afraid to ask if you would like our Angels to get you home!
Anti-Spiking Tools -
Our anti-spiking tools provided are Spikey's and Stop Topps. I you leave your drink unattended for a period of time and want a piece of mind that your drink hasn't been tampered with, you can ask for testing strips at the bar. Please note that these strips do not test for added alcohol so if you are unsure, chuck it and don't chance it, buy a new drink. If you think your drink has been tampered with please inform a memebr of staff or security.

Ask Angela -
If you are getting unwanted attention on a night out, you can head to the bar and ask for AngelaPlan Ahead. Make sure someone knows where you are going, who you are meeting and when you expect to return. Always plan how you are going to get home again.

But what does this mean?
This award is given out annually to venues that go above and beyond to create a friendly and safe environment. The team do this by ensuring there are Game Changers in action including our Union Angels, Responsible drinking and Be Safe while maintaining positive relationships with local authorities and licensed trading teams.
In addition to this, our Venues provide continuous staff development and training that provides transferable skills in areas such as First Aid to keep all our members and friends safe.
