NUS surveys found that…
59% of students want all university courses to include the skills and knowledge needed to help other people and the environment with the material built into the existing course content.
79% of students think it’s a good idea to offer environmental placements or work experience
61% of students think it is relevant to Link coursework or dissertations to help other
people and the environment
51% think it will be important to look for work in a business / organisation that makes a difference to social and environmental issues
55% want to find A role that contributes to development within the local community
65% think the students' union takes action to limit the negative impact it has on the environment and society
41% of students want to learn more about Sustainable Development
Only 17% of students have covered climate change in their studies at Uni
76% of students think we can do more to Encourage you to think and act to help the environment, and other people

Only 26% think sustainability is actively encouraged as part of their course.
