Welcome Week has come to a close, and what a week!

Thanks to everyone who got involved; whether you’re a student-group committee member, a student ambassador, one of the many union staff or even just a student who took the time to look around at our activities and the Welcome Fairs on Wednesday.

It’s not over just yet…

There’s so much more to do over the next few months, especially if you’re part of a club or society, and you can join any of our numerous groups at any time.

But maybe you had a look and didn’t see anything you were interested in?

Well it’s easier than ever to set up a student group: the students’ union engagement team will help you along the way with management training, finances, marketing, promotion and the running of events.

Here just some of the many benefits of starting a student group….

Learning new skills.
Improved employability.
New friends.
The opportunity to pursue a passion or interest.

You can even relate a new society to your course and join our growing number of ACADEMIC SOCIETIES at Staffs. Then you’ll get extra funding and often support from the relevant university faculty.
