Having had a very successful mixed lacrosse team for many years, last year Women's Lacrosse was set up. If offers women the chance to play a highly competitive contact sport in a nationally recognised league.
The game consists of passing a ball between players' sticks with the aim of shooting past the goalie and scoring a goal! Matches take place on Wednesdays, with weekly training sessions. Socials will also take place weekly, with the Mixed and Men's Lacrosse teams, which is loads of fun with fancy dress themes and usually ending up in LRV!
