Your Students' Union wants the move from Stafford to Stoke to be as painless as possible. For that to happen we need you to tell us what your questions are so we can source the answers in good time.
To help do this in a convenient way we are hosting a drop-in session with experts from different areas of the University and Union ready to answer any questions you may have – all you have to do is show up.
We will have:
• Faculty Guidance Advisors answering questions around academic or personal concerns.
• Tutors answering questions on any changes to courses and facilities.
• Student Enabling Centre discussing personal issues anyone may have around the relocation.
• The University Chaplain to discuss spiritual issues or concerns.
• A Union venue manager to talk about the Stoke social experience and what you would like to see next year.
• A member of our Student Engagement team to discuss sports clubs, societies, volunteering and more.
• A member of our Greenpad Lettings team to answer accommodation queries and assess your accommodation needs.
• A Students' Union adviser to discuss funding or academic issues.
That's lots of useful people in one room and if we don't have an answer for you on the day, we will absolutely try our best to find someone who does have the answer. And if your question doesn't fit with any of these people, ask it anyway and we'll do our best to get you an answer.
If you can't make this slot, don't panic, we will be having another on Tuesday 1 March from 11-1 in the same location. Alternatively you can always email us on union@staffs.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
