Celebration of Eid at Staffordshire University

You are invited to join our Celebration of Eid in the Catalyst Hall on Thursday 11th April from 6pm-9pm.
There will be Henna, delicious food served by Chaiiwala, sweets, games, a prize quiz, prayer-bead-making and much more!
Eid al-Fitr, also called the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", is a religious celebration that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. People greet each other with “Eid Mubarak,” meaning “Blessed Eid” and sweet dishes are prepared at home with gifts given to children.
Come and socialise will fellow students and families, take a selfie with friends in our photo corner, or participate in the quiz. There will also be games for the children and big kids at heart.
The purchase of your ticket entitles one person entry to the event. All activities inside the venue are -included in your ticket price.
Please note that each guest will require a ticket, including children and infants.
