about us

If media is your thing then there's plenty to get involved in. GK Media is a collection of various student media groups supported by the Students' Union; there's GK News (newspaper), GK Radio, and GK TV.

All are run exclusively by students to help them gain experience as well as ensure that all the other students get to hear about issues that actually matter to them.

You don't need to be on a related media course to get involved, all they are looking for is people with some enthusiasm whether you want to write an article for the newspaper, work behind the scenes on the radio station or edit the footage for the TV.

As the groups have only just recently had their new committees appointed we're still working on all the content for this section. But if you'd like to know more about getting involved or what's on offer then why not e-mail the Media Officer, Richard Bishop, who looks after GK Media?
