The Students’ Union is run by students for students – that means we’re completely dedicated to representing students at Staffs and helping provide what they want from their student experience. That covers everything from advice and support, great venues and events to representation, sports clubs, activities and even a dedicated student media service.
We’re constantly striving to ensure the best possible experience for all students at Staffs and free membership of the Students’ Union is automatic on enrolling at Staffordshire University. That means our students get to have their say in what we do and how we do it.

Staffs Uni Lacrosse have a mixed, men's and a women's team, we all train together and enjoy our socials as one big squad. Lacrosse is widley known as 'the fastest sport on two feet' and it does live it to it's reputation as you won't find a more exciting and fast moving sport.
Staffs Lacrosse offer a non-contact in the form of mixed lacrosse, or the full contact of both men's and women's, so there is something for everybody.
ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED TO PLAY LACROSSE!!! At Staffs Lacrosse we will teach you all the skills you need and convert the skills you currently have into Lacrosse abililty. For example if you currently play Basketball we can turn you into a Lacrosse defenseman or if you play any form of Hockey we can turn you into a Lacrosse Attackman.

Training will be at the same time every week and follows;

Matches for Men's and Women's are normally played on Wednesdays and Saturdays/Sundays for Mixed.
The Mens team will be competing in BUCS Midlands 2A in the 2012/13 season and we will up against the likes of Nottingham, Birmingham & League favourites Loughborough.
Womens also will be competing in BUCS in the Midlands league and will take on the likes of Warwick and Nottingham Trent.
Both Mens & Womens team are also entered into the conference cup.
Mixed will compete in the INTO Lacrosse Midlands League which also features Loughborough, Nottingham & Warwick.
And of course the big one!!! Varsity 2013 which will be hosted at Staffs where Mens are looking to reatin their title, the Womens are looking for a first ever win and Mixed are looking to retain their 2011 title.
