Lacrosse Club Mixed (Stoke)

Mixed Lacrosse is the University's most inclusive club and is almost unique in the fact that it guarantees a place in the first team for committed freshers.
The sport itself is fast flowing and consists of an equal number of men and women. It is played with sticks and a ball and the object of the game is to use the lacrosse sticks to catch, carry and pass the ball in an effort to sore by ultimately hurling the ball into the opponents goal.
This year the team will be putting up a challenge for the league title, after coming third last year and winning their Varsity crown.
Away from the pitch, the club hosts weekly social events, as well as after match and after training drinks.
