Working in partnership with the Students' Union and the University, the British Heart Foundation has placed banks across Stoke and Stafford for students to recycle their clothing, DVDs and other saleable items.
The banks can be found outside Stafford Court, Clarice Cliff Court, Spode and one on the pavement adjacent to car parks one and two on the Leek Rd campus. Students can donate unwanted clothing, books, CDs, DVDs and bric-a-brac.
British Heart Foundation bags will be available from the Residences Reception Offices in Coalport, Clarice Cliff Court, Stafford Court and the general receptions in the Science Building, Cadman and Brindley so that everyone can use the facility.
The Union is working towards its Green Impact Gold award this year, and part of that effort is encouraging students to recycle unwanted goods rather than just throwing them away.
