There’s IT maintenance on University systems taking place on Saturday 16th May from 8:30am to 2.00pm
How will this affect me?
University Wiki servers (all sites with names ending in “.wiki.staffs.ac.uk”) - will be at risk throughout the period to allow restarts associated with operating system and security patches.
Wordpress blog sites - will be at risk throughout the period to allow restarts associated with operating system and security patches.
Searching of the university website - will be at risk throughout the period to allow restarts associated with operating system and security patches.
Student Office365 Email and OneDrive - login to the system will be at risk while patches are installed, due to the highly resilient nature of the system no loss of service is expected by this action.
Students’ Union website - login to the system will be at risk, and unavailable for short periods while patches are installed and system restarted.
Library eResources (Shibboleth) - login to the system will be at risk throughout the period while patches are installed. Users who have authenticated will continue to be able to access the systems.
GovDocs - the system will be at risk for short periods while patches are installed and system restarted.
