officer team 2014-15
As your new officer team settle into their roles they begin to set their strategic direction for the year ahead.

The Union already has an over-arching strategy and the officer team choose which of the five strands built into the strategy they were best placed to lead on.

What this means for you as a student member is that you better understand the responsibilities of each officer and what their focus for the year will be. The officers and their strands are:
Mel Ramsay – celebrating your success
Yashwanth Nooka – knowing you better
Louise Mason – engaging you
Dayo Odubonojo – developing you
Thomas Hope – ensuring you are well served.

Each officer has also set themselves key performance indicators (KPIs) to aim for, measured by the 2015 Big Ask survey.

They are as follows:
Dayo aims for the statement "I feel the Union represents my interest" to reach 50% agreement (45% in 2014)
Tom aims for the statement "Overall I am satisfied with the Students' Union" to reach 65% agreement (59% in 2014)
Yashwanth aims for the statement "I trust the Students' Union to fulfil its promises to students" to reach 58% agreement (55% in 2014)
Mel aims for the statement "I am proud to be part of Staffs" to reach 74% agreement (69% in 2014)
Louise aims for the statement "I feel that the Students' Union has a positive impact on my student experience" to reach 52% agreement (47% in 2014).

Updates on how the officer team are working on their strands and trying to hit their KPIs will be published regularly via news articles or via our Youtube channel.
