Students' Union - Advice Centre Volunteer

 

Aim of the role

To provide information and support to students with different problems that they might experience while at university.

To assist the Student Advice Centre in promoting the service and information provided for students of Staffordshire University.

 

Role Activities Include

  • To help students fill out a variety of forms, primarily with ALF forms.
  • To promote the advice centre and its campaigns throughout the year.
  • Running events / sessions for students to attend for help and information.

This list is not extensive and there is chance for this role to be expanded with more activities and opportunities available with this role.

 

Experience Need

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED – just need willingness and enthusiasm to work with Staffordshire University Students’ Union to help students.

 

Commitment

To attend sessions that you sign up to volunteer at.

To be willing to be flexible with the time that you volunteer with the Union.
