This week we are introducing to you the Cue Sports Society of Staffs aka Staffs Serpents! The Society is run by the Manager – Jack Burgess, Finance officer – Ben James, Wellbeing Officer – Jake Milne and Communications Officer – Callum Seastron.
The Society has a very good standard of pool and snooker being played. The aim of the Society is to mix their existing members with anyone else who’s looking to join a fun society to develop themselves. Taking these players to new tournaments is a high priority of the Society. They also plan trips to watch high level games, travel to different venues and more…
Events and Activities of Staffs Serpents
The Society participates in BUCS and Varsity tournaments with many awards won in the year 2022/23 like winners Varsity Match and BUCS series championship! They were also awarded WE ARE STAFFS CHARITY CHAMPIONS in 2023 for raising £867 for various charities.
The members be practicing pool and snooker in the Society and trying to improve all aspects of our game. You will prepare for tournaments throughout the year internally & externally.
They practice and play at Longton Snooker from 7 pm to 11 pm on Wednesdays and Sundays from 12 pm – 4 pm.

The discussions are going on to hosting their own tournaments towards the start of the next academic year, hopefully including as many freshers as possible.
