Our Aims

Hello there!

Our aims for the academic year 2026/27 are to provide students a safe environment to socialise as themselves, to encourage and support advocation of our LGBTQ+ students rights and to improve the communication between students and the university.

For the 2026/27 academic year, we want to continue with our aims of providing students a safe environment to socialise as themselves, encourage and support advocation of our LGBTQ+ students rights and improve the communication between students and the university. On top of this, we also plan to up our game to make this year even better than the last! To do this, we aim to do the following:

- Do more collaboration events with other societies.
- Revive the Student Transition Fund and host fundraisers for it.
- Gain more donations for our Binder Bucket.
- Introduce more creative ideas for our weekly socials. 

We put on socials on a weekly basis, meeting in TBC. The (day TBC) social is an event where students can socialise, play games, share interests and enjoy drinks & snacks.

Attending meet-ups and socials is not mandatory - attend as often or as little as you want!
