Val Society

This society is made for everyone and has a centre around community, the main activity focus for the society is Valorant a game produced by Riot Games. Students, Alumni & Staff in any skill-range are allowed to attend, memberships are not required to attend sessions although it is strongly advised as it helps us make activities and sessions more enjoyable for everyone (paid members get prioty). The sessions will have a more casual enviroment so everyone can enjoy them, there are some sessions planned for future that will have a more competitive focus if that is more to your liking as we intend to have activities for everyone to enjoy.

Another benefit to this society is we can offer as sorts of funnel for players to access NSE (National Student Esports) and NUEL (National University Esports League) which are two external organisations that would allow any 5 players to create a team and play in a organised tournament layout that emulates what it would be like to be a proffesional.

Overall Goals

The overall goals for this society is to:

• Create a inclusive community
• Make and maintain a casual and competitive enviroment
• Inspire Good sportsmanship

And most importantly allow those who have the same interests to bond over a universal topic and create friendships that last even outside the society.
