08/10 - It's been a busy few weeks with Welcome Week and manifesto mapping, but I felt it was time for my first update! My Artists vs AI work is quickly approaching final stage of planning, with final confirmation on small details being approved and finalised. This is looking to be an amazing project, with perfect opportunity for portfolio building, representation of our artists and creatives, as well as possible employability chances for our students. Current framework is that there may even be opportunity for an exhibition and a huge prize fund. While this is the first major card in the deck of complex tasks around tackling AI, this is going to be a major first stepping stone to help promote a artist first vision on campus which we have all called and cried for in recent years. So, watch this space!
