Whether you’re passionate about a particular hobby, want to develop a new skill or simply want to meet people outside your course, societies offer a welcoming space to connect with like-minded students and make lasting memories.
How do you join a society?
Getting involved is easy! Browse the societies available through the Students’ Union and find one that interests you. Once you’ve found your match, purchase a membership to get involved and receive updates about upcoming events and activities through the society’s mailing list.
Not sure which society is right for you? You can also look out for events that welcome non-members. Attending an event is a great way to meet the committee, get to know other members and experience what the society has to offer before deciding to join.
