We've quickly rolled around to the start of the academic year (Where has the time gone??)! If you're new here, we want to share a warm welcome to the Staffs Community and give you a few pointers to help you navigate your way through all of the exciting opportunitites we have during term one.
You may have seen on our social media, webpage and newsletters a thing called GIAG. But what does that even mean?
GIAG simply means "Give It A Go", a period of time during October where you can come along and try all of our amazing clubs and societies completely free of charge, kind of like a "Try Before You Buy" system. From Snowsports to Computing, you can attend as many sessions as you like and get a feel for what you might like to attend in the future. You have the option to pick up a new hobby, try a new sport, or just meet new people.
There's lots to get involved in, and so many activities hosted throughout the week, but remember, if there are any societies you'd like to join, make sure you purchase your memberships before 23rd October!
