We have some wonderful students stepping up to take the lead on a proposed new student group: Roblox Society.
"We want to bring together students with an interest in Roblox, including both playing Roblox experiences and creating games using Roblox Studio, and to provide an inclusive community where students can share these interests with like-minded people and also improve their scripting skills in lua. We also want to provide regular opportunities for students to play and explore a variety of Roblox experiences together, provide opportunities for members interested in game development to learn, practise and share skills using Roblox Studio, including programming, building, game design and other areas of development, and to encourage collaboration between members through activities such as community projects, development challenges and game jams.
Overall, we want to create opportunities for students with a shared interest in Roblox to build friendships, peer relationships and a wider network within the university and to welcome students of all experience levels, from casual Roblox players to experienced developers, and provide an inclusive environment where members can learn from and support one another."
They are looking to offer opportunities to students to get involved, meet like-minded people and play their favourite game.
They are looking for interested students who might want to support alongside them as a committee leader (you can find out more here about what works: Clubs and Societies FAQ's)
And are also scoping student interest for members.
