We have some wonderful students stepping up to take the lead on a proposed new student group: Rocket League Society.
Rocket League combines the high-action sport of football with rocket-powered vehicles in a competitive scene of up to eight players. The game has a strong presence in Esports and is widely known in the competitive videogame scene.
This society is looking to bring together fans of Rocket League and host gaming sessions to help build a strong, supportive community. They aim to collaborate with other gaming societies to provide crossover sessions. Additionally, they aim to represent Staffordshire University in Esports competitions such as NSE. Whether you're new to the game or highly experienced and looking to compete, this society has something for you.
They are looking to offer opportunities to students to get involved, meet like-minded people, and play their favourite activity.
They are looking for interested students who might want to support alongside them as a committee leader (you can find out more here about what works: Clubs and Societies FAQ's)
And are also scoping student interest for members.
