The Pokemon Society Cobblemon server is something we've started running over the summer in order to get new members involved before the start of term, while also giving existing members something to do while they're away from campus. The server is free to join provided that you own the Java edition of Minecraft, so you should definitely get involved if you're a fan of Minecraft or Pokemon.
For those unaware, Cobblemon is a mod for Minecraft which seeks to integrate Pokemon and its mechanics into the game. You get the best of both world with the building and exploration of Minecraft mixed with the catching and battling of Pokemon. We also have gym leaders which you can challenge in order to work towards becoming the champion. The server uses a mod pack tailor-made to include various Cobblemon add-ons, voice chat and quality of life features.
While the event listing is set to end at the start of term, the server will persist given that there is an active player base for it.
In order to join the server, please join our society discord. We'll be able to whitelist you for the server using your Minecraft username and help you to download the mod pack.
