Esther McCallum-Stewart's Story

"As well as being a female member of staff in the games sector, she writes about gender in games and how it's portrayed etc . She is also the first tutor that has acknowledged non binary students (in my time at Staffs, in my classes, at least) and always uses gender neutral greetings or refers to students as they/them or their preferred pronouns. It's greatly appreciated and a little means a lot to people. "

We hope that you are as proud of your story as we are. However, if you would prefer the Students' Union to no longer display you story on our website, please email union@staffs.ac.uk and a member of our friendly team will be happy to help.
