Jodiee Leigh Hart (She/Her)

As a Mature Transgender student currently at Staffordshire university, I think it is vital for all voices are heard from all spectrums conforming or non.

I want to shape a future that brings people closer and can connect to improve the services that Staffordshire university has to offer towards Transgender individuals as well as non-binary and on a gender spectrum.

The welfare and mental health of my own community is vital and to be a happy student means to be happy with the progression in which the university makes spaces available for you.

I pledge to work alongside the LGBT Network to:

*Ensure LGBTQIIA voices are heard

*Ensure Ideas and feedback to improve Staffordshire university are taken to the relevant people & departments

*To set up and assist in guiding services that focus around Transgender Welfare on and off campus

*Work alongside the LGBT Network to provide information, services and guidance to Transgender Individuals

I do believe there is so much more to this role, and I will, in good time, develop the skills needed to help where I can and offer what I am able too.

I hope to see you all soon!
