Join The Trent Valley's 'Trent Renew' team in their community nature monitoring walk on Tuesday 7th April from 10am -12pm.
We will meet at the Sylvester Community Trust Growing Field at 10am and walk over to Whitfield Valley Nature Reserve to find out what wildlife and plants we can spot and record. You are very welcome to join in, whether you are just finding out about wildlife for the first time or have experience and knowledge to share.
We will be using i-Naturalist app to record what we find. Paths are uneven and can be slippery. The walk will be slow over a short distance but it helps if you can manage being outdoors for about 2 hours.
Please do wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather. Sylvester Community Trust have kindly agreed that we can use their toilet if needed and have a hot drink.
If you have any queries, please email trentvalley@supportstaffordshire.org.uk for more information.
Travel expenses can be claimed for people signing up as volunteers but cannot be paid on the day.
